If there’s anything more I love than my husband or 2 cats it’s has got to be self help or business books.

I’ve put together a list of my favorite summer reads, what I took away from it, and who they’re perfect for:

1) Get Rich, Lucky Bitch!: Release Your Money Blocks and Live a First Class Life

I’ve seen so many new articles about money mindsets, attracting money, and changing your story with money. I’m definitely a huge skeptic of any law of attraction stuff, this was definitely out of my typical business reading.

But this book gets a huge YES for me.

What will happen is you’ll change the way you look at money. I used to be one of those people who never balanced a check book or did a profit/loss sheet on business expenses.

Now I do that stuff because it makes me feel confident about managing my money and I feel more grateful about money. I also notice when I find a penny on the ground and I thank the universe.

Perfect for: Money problems, attracting money, having a better relationship with money, and asking for the money you deserve

If you’re a woman you’re missing out on $5,000.

Watch the authors discuss why on the Colbert Report

Perfect for: Getting a career you deserve, understand your talents and your true financial worth, and of course confidence.

Seth Godin is the cool king of marketing but in this book he takes you in a different place. He wants you to step up to the plate when the universe is calling. That resistance you feel when starting a business, trying a new activity, or moving to a new place that’s is the universe is pushing you to become more than you are now.

The format of this book is the best, it’s a magazine in he form of a book with no ads. It’s a quick read but eye catching. Perfect coffee table book too.

Perfect for: When you want more out of your life but you don’t know where to start, if you’re in that place of stuck, and someone who wants to create something to change the world

*This book doesn’t have a kindle download, it’s a snail mail type of book but worth it.

If you had any summer reads that you loved please share in the comments below and what you learned from it.

P.S. You're going to go ape shit over my content library (it's full of videos, challenges, work sheets, and so much more all in one jam packed place)
